Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International airport, Alabama-based charter, FBO, maintenance, management and sales company Southern Sky Aviation has expanded its AOG services along the US Gulf Coast; its new team will service customers from Panama City in Florida to New Orleans in Louisiana. Randy Radford will serve as the AOG team leader for the Gulf Coast region.

CEO Bo Andrews says: "Over the last few years, we have been monitoring AOG maintenance opportunities. Once we began operating our FBO in Moss Point, Mississippi at Trent Lott International airport, we saw first hand the need for additional AOG services. Now that we are building a new FBO in Panama City, Florida at Northwest Florida Beaches International airport, we believe the timing is perfect to expand our AOG services along the coast."

President Donald Howell adds: "Many of our customers at our Birmingham, Alabama repair station are based along the Gulf Coast. These customers are very in-tuned to aviation services in their region and believe the Gulf Coast aviation community will support the additional AOG team. We have seen strong growth in aircraft ownership all over the southeast. Our newly added AOG team will help meet demands in the Gulf Coast area."
