KTS gains fully certified RR300 dual testing capability
Having acquired two complete RR300 rental engines plus spares, along with fully enhancing both all-digital engine test cells, KTS is now fully R-R certified to repair, overhaul and test the RR300 engine for Robinson R66.
KTS has successfully correlated and certified both of its all-digital engine test cells to support the complete RR300 series of gas turbine engines.

Coatesville, Pennsylvania-based Keystone Turbine Services (KTS), a subsidiary of Precision Aviation Group (PAG), has further expanded its partnership with Rolls-Royce by successfully correlating and certifying both of its all-digital engine test cells to now support the complete RR300 series of gas turbine engines.

As a specialist in providing total OEM-approved aftermarket MRO services for operators of the Rolls-Royce M250, and now RR300 series of gas turbine engines plus module, accessory, component, spare parts and field service support, along with Honeywell and Triumph related accessories, KTS now includes certified full performance engine testing utilising both test cells which have been correlated using a gold standard Rolls-Royce RR300-provided engine.

“Enhancing our Rolls-Royce RR300 capability to KTS's overall MRO capability is the next step in PAG's long-term strategy to expand and further strengthen the deep-rooted relationships we have built with key OEMs and customers,” says PAG president and CEO David Mast. “We're now fully equipped to provide Rolls-Royce RR300 operators with complete support to include rental engines, modules and exchange units and now full performance testing services.”

“KTS has invested over $3.5 million to acquire two complete RR300 rental engines plus additional spare compressor, gearbox and turbine modules, along with fully enhancing both all-digital engine test cells,” adds KTS general manager John Fraser. “We are now fully Rolls-Royce certified to repair, overhaul and test the RR300 series of engine, and we look forward to providing this new capability to all operators of the Robinson R66 helicopter.”
