PHI Aviation has signed lease agreements for three helicopters with Milestone Aviation Group.

The agreements include the placement and extension of two Sikorsky S92 helicopters and one Leonardo AW139, bringing PHI's total fleet on lease from Milestone to four, including the existing lease of one S92 helicopter.

All four helicopters are supporting PHI's growing operations in the Gulf of Mexico and Australia, transporting passengers for the largest integrated oil and gas companies in the world.

Managing director Keith Mullett says: “We are excited to extend our working relationship with Milestone in two of our most important markets. Increased flying activity had meant PHI's existing and mostly owned fleet was fully deployed. This arrangement with Milestone enables us to continue to meet the increased demands for the high-quality service our customers expect. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with Milestone.”

Milestone president and CEO Pat Sheedy adds: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with PHI and to support its growing global offshore operations. With the delivery of these helicopters, we have quadrupled the number of Milestone-owned aircraft operating within the PHI fleet.
