VOAR strengthens Embraer support in Brazil
The agreement with VOAR aims to support Embraer jet operators at Congonhas airport, and continues to strengthen services to meet the growth of executive aviation in Brazil.
Embraer and VOAR seal the maintenance deal.

Embraer has partnered with Brazilian full service business aviation company VOAR Aviation with the objective of offering unscheduled maintenance services to Embraer executive aviation customers at the Congonhas airport in São Paulo. In this way, Embraer continues to strengthen its provision of MRO services and support FBOs to meet the growth of executive aviation in Brazil.

“This agreement with VOAR is the ideal complement to the expansion of Embraer's service operations in Brazil. We will be even closer to our customers, establishing our presence in the most important airport in the country for business aviation,” says Embraer Services & Support vice president, global MRO centres Frank Stevens.

“Partnering with Embraer makes perfect sense for VOAR, as we have a large fleet of the company's aircraft using our facilities. The customer, who will be the main beneficiary, wins,” adds VOAR CEO Alessandra Abrão.

This arrangement takes place less than two months after Embraer inaugurated the new hangars at its Sorocaba service centre, doubling its usable area. The unit, that celebrated eight years of operation in March 2022, now has four hangars, three of which are dedicated to MRO and one to FBO services.

“The main goal is to offer dedicated support at Congonhas airport, further improving our customer's satisfaction. We aim to bring benefits such as greater agility in service, with local teams supporting the operation, and greater network integration, both owned and authorised,” says MRO and FBO managing director Everton Vicente.
