Utility Air opens Diamond customer centre in Sydney
The success of its parts distribution business caused Utility Air to move its corporate offices to the same location, allowing closer integration of the businesses and realising a focused hub for customers.
The new Diamond meeting centre in Sydney.

Utility Air, the exclusive distributor for Diamond Aircraft in Australia, New Zealand and across the Pacific region, has opened a new Diamond meeting centre in Sydney. Located in Belrose, it is part of the business hub which also contains the parts distribution warehouse for the business.

Managing director Stephen Pembro says: “The Diamond product is a high end, quality product and we felt it was important to have a customer facility that matched the product. The new facility has entertaining balconies, meeting rooms, a café kitchen as well as sales offices. It's a place for us to conduct business with our clients in a focused and pleasant way.”

Utility Air will use the centre for Diamond training and customer events, as well as day to day interactions.

Director John Oppenheim adds: “With the success of our parts distribution business, it made sense to move the corporate offices to the same location. This has allowed closer integration of the business and also a focused hub for our customers.”

The company has also welcomed Shaun Hearn to the team. Hearn is an experienced aviator and is responsible for business development and also the sale of DA20 and DA40 aircraft in the region.

“We welcome Shaun to the Utility Air team,” says Pembro. “Shaun is currently touring the country meeting existing owners and prospective customers alike, and we see him as being an integral part of the team moving forward.”
