Ross Aviation breaks ground on Bedford hangar
Shovels have gone into the ground at Ross Aviation's facility at Laurence Hanscom Field in Bedford, Massachusetts as construction begins on a new hangar expansion project on the airport field.
Ross Aviation turns over the first symbolic shovelfuls of earth.

US FBO chain Ross Aviation has commenced construction of a hangar expansion project at Laurence Hanscom Field in Massachusetts.

This expansion will include some 60,000 sq ft of new hangar space, as well as 12,000 sq ft of new offices and terminal. Doors for the hangar have been specifically sized to accommodate large cabin aircraft. And, in keeping with the company's on-going commitment to sustainability, the new hangar will be LEED certified. In addition, the project will add three acres of additional ramp space for based customers and guests. Construction is expected to be completed in the spring of next year.

Located just 20 miles northwest of Boston, Laurence Hanscom Field is the region's largest general aviation airport and the popular choice for easy access to businesses, medical facilities and educational hubs in the 128 Loop.

“In addition to expanding our footprint at here at Hanscom Field as well as our presence in the northeast, this new hangar will further advance our ability to provide customers with the best flight hospitality and services in the industry,” says CEO Brian Corbett.
