When ground operators asked ARGUS to help them reduce ground incidents and damage to aircraft and assets, the PROS team created the Base Operations Audit to support their safety and operational needs.

ARGUS International has introduced a Base Operations audit and rating programme that encourages and assists companies in reducing ground incidents and damage to aircraft and company assets. ARGUS identifies and promotes FBOs that meet rigorous international industry best practices and standards that establish appropriate safety and service programmes to support their operations. It looks into safety, service and facilities to make sure customers visiting certified FBOs from around the world can trust in the standards set forth in the Base Operations Audit.

"This programme is designed to support not only the base operations but the clients and operations that utilise their facilities," says EVP of PROS Terry Webb.

The audit assesses the organisation and management, safety management system, operations, customer service, training and facilities of all base operations.

"Our ground operations customers asked ARGUS for an assessment that fits their exact needs for domestic and international operations. The ARGUS PROS team created the ARGUS International Base Operations Audit, a global standard, specifically to meet the safety and operational needs of ground operators on a global level,” adds president Mike McCready.
