Three years after commencing operations in the US, ACC Aviation has formally opened its fourth US location and new US headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The new office will be overseen by ACC Aviation president Americas Jamie Harris.

Heading up the new US HQ and overseeing the growing team in Fort Lauderdale is Mike Jennings. Jennings joined ACC Aviation in summer 2020, bringing years of sales and operational experience. His industry success with Eastern Airlines and Chapman Freeborn, combined with the relationships he has built over his career, have made a significant and immediate impact on the trajectory of the ACC group.

“The ACC differentiator was clear from the outset when I joined,” he says. “ACC has industry leading knowledge and airline relationships, built up over 20 years. We are building something special here, and there is no better place to plant our roots than the travel and tourism hub that is south Florida.”

“We are delighted to be opening these new headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. It's an ideal location for the next stage of our US expansion,” adds CEO Phil Mathews. “South Florida is host to leading airline operators, manufacturers and complementary engineering and technology suppliers.”

“Domestic US flying was one of the first sectors to rebound when the pandemic subsided, and international travel is also now bouncing back,” says Harris. “Several sectors that cut down on their charter activity, including meetings and incentives and cruises, are now coming back. We are ready to deliver solutions and further widen the client base. Undoubtedly, the pandemic has helped charter as companies continue to seek secure and reliable ways to travel.”
