Nash leads West Star quality assurance
Newly promoted Darren Nash appreciates the opportunity to advance his career with West Star and looks forward to working with the team to provide the best quality assurance company-wide for customers.

US business aviation MRO specialist West Star Aviation has promoted Darren Nash to director of quality assurance. Nash will focus on supporting operations company-wide while working with each location to align all of the quality assurance functions.

Nash has been with West Star since 2007, working within the quality assurance team in several capacities. He earned his FAA A&P certificates from Belleville Area College, now Southwestern Illinois College. He has pursued many different aspects in his aviation career; repair stations, flight schools, and a rare opportunity to be the director of maintenance for a museum that operated several retired military aircraft, North American Aviation's B25 Mitchell and P51 Mustang among them.

"We're pleased to promote Darren to director of quality assurance," says CEO Jim Rankin. "He has done great work for the company in ensuring quality oversight, continuous improvement competencies and procedural adherence. We look forward to his contributions toward the advancement of West Star's quality culture as we continue to grow."
