PWI King Air B200/250 light approved by ANAC
King Air owners will be please to hear that ANAC has given certification approval to PWI's B200/250 window LED upgrade. It provides the same light and colour temperature as fluorescents but with a much longer life.
The B200/250 LED upgrade is more rugged and less expensive over the life of the light.

Wichita, Kansas aviation lighting specialist PWI has received certification approval from the Brazilian National Agency for Civil Aviation (ANAC) for the PWI B200/250 window LED upgrade.

“Brazil has one of the largest active fleets of King Air aircraft outside the US,” says president and CEO Robi Lorik. “The uneven terrain makes for short runways and tricky approaches, so aircraft like the King Air B200/250 are the perfect fit for use there. This will be a big help to hundreds of King Air owners that have been waiting for an ANAC certified LED option.”

The King Air B200/250 LED upgrade provides 100,000 hours of life. The PWI LED upgrade also provides the same light specifications and colour temperature as fluorescents, with a much longer life. The LED upgrade requires 50 per cent less measured operating current and eliminates the high voltage associated with fluorescent lighting.

PWI was recently honoured as a small business exporter by the US Small Business Administration,” adds Lorik. “We’re happy to expand our certified exporting options, while also helping out King Air B200/250 owners who were waiting on ANAC certification.”

The B200/250 LED upgrade is already STC and EASA certified. This LED upgrade joins PWI’s 300/B300/350 LED upgrade series in receiving ANAC approval.

PWI’s part number 6900422-009 is designed for a nine-window aircraft, part number 6900422-010 for a 10-window aircraft and 6900422-011 for an 11-window aircraft. The LED upgrade kit is comprised of Velcro lined metal brackets, wiring harnesses and connectors, is compatible with the factory installed connectors and ships with the certification paperwork. ANAC certification does not include Beechcraft models 200C, B200C and B200CT.
