Atlanta, Georgia-based aircraft acquisitions and sales company OGaraJets has hired aircraft management expert Elliott Sutter and additional sales support expert Donnie Shealey.

As a sales executive, Sutter will leverage his industry experience and professional network to give clients a competitive edge as they look to purchase or sell aircraft.

“Elliott's business background and personal values align perfectly with our needs and expectations as an organisation,” says VP business integration Ashley Charnley. “His experience and industry connections will make him an extremely valuable resource to our clients and our company. We're excited to have him join our team.”

A University of Georgia graduate with double majors in marketing and international business, Sutter has a background in customer service and sales experience, including setting sales records for prior employers. Most recently, he spent five years in aircraft management with an aviation charter company.

“The aircraft charter market saw unprecedented volume in 2021,” adds Sutter. “It was a demanding year for my former company and for me, but it served as a 'capstone' experience of sorts. I was able to leverage all the industry insight I'd developed in my tenure there to help clients understand everything from aircraft performance specs to depreciation trends so that they could make well-informed business decisions.”

As a director of technical services, Shealy will provide crucial technical support to OGaraJets clients as they navigate aircraft transactions.

“Shealy's background and knowledge of the technical side of the industry is second to none,” says vice president of technical services Matt Huff. “He is well known, respected and trusted throughout the industry, and that is someone we take pride in aligning with. We are happy he feels the same way about us and joined our team.”

With over 25 years of industry experience, Shealy is ready to lead and manage technical projects. In his most recent roles as team leader and technical sales manager, Shealy oversaw multiple teams and successfully navigated complex technical projects. He will look to use his wealth of aviation maintenance knowledge and experience to best serve the OGaraJets client base.

Shealy says: “I have the opportunity to do what I'm great at; customer satisfaction and a commitment to service.” He will work alongside Huff in streamlining processes, increasing efficiencies in the technical department and sharing the oversight of active projects that are in the technical stages of completion.
