RebTech strengthens team to expand portfolio
Ex-RAF engineer David Thomson has amassed remarkable experience in a career spanning Heli-One, as head of sales operations for Asia Pacific, Vector Aerospace and Vallair in Luxembourg.

REB Technologies has recruited David Thompson as director of business development and strategy.

He brings over 45 years of aviation experience across a wide range of aerospace operators and maintenance organisations. Prior to his arrival at RebTech Thompson held senior positions with Heli-One, as head of sales operations for Asia Pacific, vice president business development at Vector Aerospace and chief operating officer with Vallair in Luxembourg. Most recently, Thompson was the chief operating officer for the Taranis Aerospace Consulting Group. He has extensive experience in the aerospace sector having previously worked for BAE after serving in the RAF for 27 years as an engineer officer.

“I am thrilled to be joining at a time of significant growth,” says Thompson. “This move signifies an exciting step for me, as the company looks to further expand its successful NVIS offering into the aerial fire fighting market. I am keen to quickly expand our impressive global client portfolio to support the company's next strategic leap forward in this sector.”

“We are delighted that David has joined RebTech,” said Richard Borkowski, president of REB Technologies. “His direct experience of emerging global markets and extensive product knowledge will undoubtedly prove vital in expanding our portfolio of services. However, it is his in-depth knowledge of the aerial firefighting industry that will keep president at the forefront of the industry.”
