Leading Edge buys competitor to increase California services
Leading Edge has extended its presence in southern California with the acquisition of its top local competitor Advantage Aviation and says customers can expect a service never before accomplished in California.
Advantage Aviation says existing customers can rest assured that the integration will be seamless and will not impact any scheduled installs.

Leading Edge Avionics has acquired Advantage Aviation to create what it says is the largest avionics support network in southern California. In addition to deepening its capabilities, the move further expands Leading Edge's service footprint, which now includes 30 extra airports across southern California.

Mike Manclark chairman of Leading Edge says: “By acquiring Advantage, who we considered our top competitor and a company that shares our core values and dedication, we can now offer a level of service and capabilities on a scale never accomplished here in California. We're excited to join forces and can't wait to show customers the enhanced service and support the combined companies can now offer.

“They know service, they know safety and they work relentlessly to deliver exceptional value with each and every customer experience. Our expertise combined with rigorous training and development makes us the gold standard in performance. With our new team in Chino, we can build on that success even more.”

Advantage Aviation says existing customers can rest assured that the integration will be seamless and will not impact any scheduled installs. Leading Edge says it expects to enhance the customer experience by adding Advantage production to the Leading Edge ticketing system, providing real-time updates and status on all jobs and giving customers the ability to track the progress of their aircraft.
