AeroParts Now has been selected by aircraft parts distributor JSSI Parts & Leasing to optimise its global supply chain. And, with more than 15 years of aviation experience former RAF engineer Ben Edwards has been recruited by JSSI as its regional sales manager for EASA.

JSSI Parts & Leasing, an affiliate of Jet Support Services, Inc., has joined AeroParts Now for digital solutions to aid it in managing large parts inventories and increase quoting speed and provide a consistent approach to customers.

AeroParts Now cloud-based and scalable infrastructure is positioned to help the business provide parts support to its customer base, including the global fleet of over 2,000 jets, turboprops and rotorcraft on JSSI maintenance programmes.

“By implementing AeroParts Now, we have made considerable progress in efficiency in responding to customers. Synchronised with our ERP system, the AeroParts Now platform gives us real-time visibility into the supply chain, enabling us to accelerate our responsiveness as a supplier. The number of steps to respond to customers has been significantly reduced, and we can provide a more consistent response,” says Martijn Mathot, senior director of operations at JSSI Parts & Leasing.

Edwards' recruitment follows a decade of experience as head of sales at UK-based aircraft parts supplier Allaero, as well as more than seven years as an engineer with the Royal Air Force. In his new position, he will be responsible for strategy across the EMEA region.
