San Luis Obispo County airport-headquartered ACI Jet, which provides corporate aircraft management, charter, maintenance and ground handling services, has received its IS-BAO Stage III certification from IBAC. IS-BAO is the global industry standard for operators, and is designed to meet SMS requirements from ICAO, according to IBAC.

Being a Stage III certified flight department means the SMS infrastructure has been established, all safety risks have been identified and effectively managed, and a positive safety culture has been maintained. This certification affirms the values and procedures that ACI Jet's flight operations department has made its standard practice.

“Safety is an integral part of everything we do at ACI Jet, and we are pleased to receive this certificate as validation of our commitment,” states Kellee Valentine, ACI Jet senior VP of flight operations.
