Alpha identifies Alsim AL42 as a great fit
It only took 20 minutes for Alpha Aviation Academy owner Amin Kamyab to realise that the Alsim AL42 was the best choice for his organisation. The device is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42 with genuine parts.
Alpha narrowed down its choice to three manufacturers, and Alsim was victorious.

Alpha Aviation Academy, founded in 2020 and located at Trollhӓttan Vӓnersborg airport in Sweden, has invested in an Alsim AL42 simulator.

The AL42 is an exact replica of the Diamond DA42, built using genuine aircraft parts and equipped with the latest real-world Garmin G1000 avionics suite. It also comes with latest generation visual system, GFC 700 autopilot and PBN/LPV capabilities.

“When we started our flight school in January 2020 with my colleague, we already owned a DA42 NG," explains Alpha owner Amin Kamyab. “We needed to look for a simulator that is similar to the DA42 for IFR training. I was searching for simulator manufacturers that could offer us an FNPT 2 replica of the DA42 and my choice came down to three companies in Europe. I decided to visit them and tried their DA42 demo simulator to see if it was similar to a real DA42. The one that caught my attention after flying it for 20 minutes was Alsim's, and I knew this was the simulator we needed for our ATO.”

Alsim sales director Audrey Jeffroy adds: “We are very pleased to work with Alpha Aviation Academy and would like to thank it for its confidence. We are looking forward to installing the simulator and to starting a successful cooperation between our two companies."
