Airbus Helicopters customers to take advantage of SkyTrac
A partnership between SkyTrac and Airbus Helicopters will offer customers the option to select Iridium-based satcom systems such as the SDL-350, ISAT-200A, cockpit diallers and displays including the MTC-100.
The H160 is one of the types that can now be equipped with SkyTrac.

Airbus Helicopters customers can now select SkyTrac avionics on newly purchased helicopters including the popular H145, H160, H175 and H225 models.

SkyTrac and Airbus Helicopters have a longstanding history, and we are excited to formalise our latest partnership,” says Jan van der Heul, VP of sales at SkyTrac. “Airbus Helicopter customers can expect highly reliable and resilient avionics for a variety of mission-critical operations in EMS, law enforcement, offshore oil and gas, and VIP transport, and we are proud to extend our suite of products to those looking to enable legacy Iridium services such as flight following and to introduce the new Iridium Certus broadband terminals such as the flagship SDL-350.”

The partnership will enable Airbus Helicopters customers with the option to select Iridium-based satcom systems such as the SDL-350, ISAT-200A, cockpit diallers and displays including the MTC-100, as well as a host of value-added mission-critical capabilities including automated flight following, helicopter flight data monitoring, satellite Push-to-Talk, and text communications for specific operator profiles with the purchase of their aircraft.
