Mitchel addition could be masterstroke for Baker
Harry Mitchel has FAA Part 135, 121 and 125 expertise and has served as chief pilot, director of aviation, check airman, and flight and ground instructor. He has over 7,000 hours of total flight time to his name.
As COO for Executive AirShare, Mitchel oversaw a 43-strong fleet.

Harry Mitchel has been named VP of operations at Baker Aviation to facilitate future plans for the growth and success of the company. Baker, a full-service aircraft maintenance, management and charter company, is now located in a 66,000 sq ft facility at Fort Worth, Meacham International airport. The Baker business moved into the spacious two-hangar facility early last year as it outgrew the previous Fort Worth location.

Harry Mitchel has more than 35 years' experience in operational leadership and consulting roles and was most recently the COO for Executive AirShare, where he was responsible for flight operations, owners' services, scheduling and maintenance departments for a fleet of 43 aircraft. Prior to developing and expanding a food franchise in Nashville as president, he was VP of operations for Colgan Air where he managed operations that included 56 aircraft and 500 crewmembers.

“We are optimistic about the industry, especially here in north Texas and took advantage of the opportunity to expand and began building this facility in 2019,” states Stan Baker, III, president of Baker Aviation. “Of course, no one saw the pandemic coming last year so we adjusted to keep our business flying. Bringing Harry on board was one of the strategic decisions we made to further develop our opportunities post COVID-19, and he has hit the ground running. Harry's experience and aviation insight make him a great addition to our team, and I look forward to working with him.”

Mitchel has FAA Part 135, 121 and 125 expertise and has served as chief pilot, director of aviation, check airman, and flight and ground instructor. He has over 7,000 hours of total flight time with 2,000 of them in the Boeing Business Jet/737s flying global operations.

Established in 2008 exclusively as a private jet services company to provide a broad scope of customised aviation services, Baker Aviation has diversified its maintenance platforms and product offerings over the years and today serves as a full-service aircraft maintenance, management and global charter company. Baker Aviation Services Group was formed in 2019 to manage current strategic partnerships, dealerships, contractual management and compliance, as well as direct Hot-Stop 'L' fire containment kit sales.
