Gary Jet Center named as a Cirrus ASC
GJC will have trained technicians on both the SR-Series piston aircraft and the Vision Jet and will offer customers a full-range of aircraft maintenance on Cirrus aircraft as part of its agreement with Cirrus Aircraft.
Demand for Cirrus products appears to be on the rise.

Gary Jet Center (GJC), an aviation services company based at the Gary/Chicago International airport in Indiana, has entered into an agreement with Cirrus Aircraft to become an authorised service centre for the aircraft manufacturer and its growing base of customers. GJC will have trained technicians on both the SR-Series piston aircraft and the Vision Jet and will offer customers a full-range of aircraft maintenance on Cirrus Aircraft as part of the agreement. In addition to routine and annual maintenance of Cirrus Aircraft, GJC will offer composite and paint repair, warranty support, Garmin and Avidyne avionics servicing, and air conditioning service.

“We are excited to be a part of the global network of authorised service centres for Cirrus Aircraft,” says Jeff McLain, director of maintenance for Gary Jet Center. “For nearly 30 years, we have been performing maintenance on a variety of aircraft with our Part 145 certificate, and to secure this relationship with Cirrus is a tremendous addition to our offerings. We look forward to providing exceptional service and support to Cirrus owners in the Chicagoland area and beyond.”

As a Cirrus Aircraft ASC, Gary Jet Center’s team will have access to genuine Cirrus Aircraft parts and training to ensure the maintenance process is timely and seamless. The GJC maintenance team provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including CAPS inspection and recertification, ADS-B incorporation and other modifications to the avionics suite, as well as an aircraft management package to ensure owner’s Cirrus Aircraft is available for dispatch and compliant with all FAA and Cirrus maintenance schedules.
