Jet Linx CAT services throughout aircraft ownership
As part of the CAT programme, Jet Linx provides guidance and support with services such as owner and aircraft matching assessments, pre-purchase inspections, price evaluations, negotiations and final proposals.
Spanning 4,000 sq ft, the new private jet terminal comprises of a central lobby with individual workstations, a private conference room, fully stocked kitchenette and refreshment bar, as well as four large office spaces.

Jet Linx is debuting its Complete Aircraft Transaction (CAT) service, a solution that provides current and prospective aircraft owners with the support of Jet Linx's operating expertise, coupled with its industry-best aircraft brokerage partners, to oversee the purchase, management and sale of a private jet.

“Since our founding in 1999, we have guided hundreds of aircraft owners through each step of the aircraft ownership lifecycle, no matter how complex, to identify the best solution for their private aviation and investment needs,” says Jamie Walker, president and CEO of Jet Linx. "With two decades of purchasing, managing, operating, maintaining and selling hundreds of aircraft in nearly 40 different aircraft types, we understand all of the nuances of aircraft ownership. Our new CAT programme is the industry's only comprehensive solution that offers true end-to-end support for every step of the ownership experience.”

As part of the CAT programme, Jet Linx provides guidance and support with services such as owner and aircraft matching assessments, pre-purchase inspections, price evaluations, negotiations and final proposals. To further ensure a seamless experience, Jet Linx collaborates closely with the industry's foremost aircraft brokers, tax advisors and legal counsel to help assist in buying and selling aircraft at industry best rates, tax structures and terms.

Once the purchase is complete, Jet Linx assumes management of the aircraft on behalf of the owner, utilising its proprietary technology platforms for real-time asset management. With one tap on the Jet Linx mobile app, aircraft owners can access dashboards to view flight schedules, fuel reports, scheduled maintenance events and all of the revenues and expenses accrued in a P&L format, down to an individual receipt level. The aircraft is also added to the company's fleet of 120 aircraft to ensure industry-best pricing for fuel, maintenance, insurance and more to greatly reduce the cost of ownership, and for the most desired aircraft types Jet Linx will guarantee revenue to significantly offset the cost of the ownership experience. When the time comes to upgrade and sell the aircraft, the aircraft's lifecycle of ownership is packaged up into an easy-to-read report for the sale of the aircraft.

Jet Linx has also announced the opening of its new private terminal in San Antonio, Texas. The new facilities for the Jet Linx San Antonio base location, which first opened in 2011, follows a series of recent growth and expansion initiatives, including the grand opening of Jet Linx Minneapolis.

“San Antonio has proven to be an extremely impactful market for Jet Linx, having doubled in membership within its first three years of operating and witnessing consistent growth,” says Walker. “For the past decade, our San Antonio base team has excelled in providing both luxury and convenience to our local clients and we are excited to deliver an enhanced five-star experience, from arrival to takeoff.”

In response to this growing demand, Jet Linx relocated the San Antonio base to a new, standalone building at San Antonio International Airport. Planning for the new private terminal officially kicked off in July 2018, and the space came to final fruition in the autumn of 2020. Spanning 4,000 sq ft, the new private jet terminal comprises of a central lobby with individual workstations, a private conference room, fully stocked kitchenette and refreshment bar, as well as four large office spaces. Designed with a customer first approach, the new facility features ample open space and large glass windows that line the building, amplifying natural light to create a warm and relaxed environment for jet card members and aircraft owners. The building also houses a 30,000 sq ft hangar, built with two industrial fans to maintain a comfortable temperature and accommodate clients' parked vehicles.

“Our new location allows us to deliver an elevated private jet experience and an expanded array of amenities,” comments Steve Gentry, Jet Linx San Antonio base VP. “Every aspect of our Jet Linx San Antonio terminal has been designed to meet and exceed the needs of our customers and team, and we look forward to providing our high-end personalised services, convenience and safety to new and existing clients in the region.”
