Air Elite by World Fuel (Air Elite) has welcomed Fort Wayne Aero Center as the 77th member of the Air Elite network. As a network member, this location will join FBOs that meet the Air Elite standard of service excellence at distinct and customer-centric facilities.

Minutes from downtown Fort Wayne at Fort Wayne International airport, those visiting this facility will be offered a small-town feel while also enjoying the benefit of the FBO’s proximity to Detroit, Chicago and Indianapolis. Fort Wayne’s modern and spacious facility includes heated hangar space available for the largest business aircraft up to and including a G650 and Global 7500. Amenities include an executive terminal with an open and welcoming lobby, conference centres, pilot’s lounge, fitness centre and showers. Fort Wayne’s line staff are also NATA Safety 1st-trained, and for added convenience, a new US customs clearance facility is located on the field. As a member of Air Elite, this location will undergo onsite audits to ensure consistency in service culture.

Joe Behling, director of fixed base operations, Fort Wayne Aero Center, states: “We at Fort Wayne Aero Center want to represent our city with a modern facility operated by staff that always do the right thing. We will do the same in representing Air Elite as we maintain the standards of elevated service.”

Steve Drzymalla, senior VP for business aviation bulk fuel, World Fuel Services, adds: “As a popular business aviation destination, Fort Wayne Aero Center is an exceptional addition to the Air Elite network. We welcome the Fort Wayne team whose services and facilities emulate the network’s commitment in Indiana and the surrounding areas.”

In 2020, Air Elite has welcomed three new locations to its global network. As a member of the network, Fort Wayne will offer their customers points via the Air Elite bonus, an advantage that gives Air Elite members a larger bank of World Fuel Rewards points to award their customers for their business and loyalty. This location will also enjoy fast and paperless credit card processing via avPOS and pilots and flight departments will be able to utilise World Fuel Contract.
