Universal Avionics (UA) has announced its top dealers of 2020: Scandinavian Avionics for International Dealer of the Year and Field Aerospace for Americas' Dealer of the Year.

Each year, UA recognises two dealers out of several hundred in its authorised dealer network who have achieved outstanding sales performance for the year. Both companies' expertise and commitment to pursuing UA upgrades were instrumental in their successful performance in 2020.

“Our deep personal and professional relationships with Scandinavian Avionics and Field Aerospace have translated, once again, into an excellent year,” says Dror Yahav, UA CEO. “We are looking forward to 2021 as we expand our activities with both dealers, offering new innovative products and services to our customers.”

Scandinavian Avionics, headquartered in Billund, Denmark, is a well-known UA authorised dealer, reflected in its seven Top Dealer Award achievements over the last decade. Its knowledge of and dedication to UA products is reflected in its sales figures for 2020. Key factors to its success this past year were programmes for the EFI-890R advanced display system, cockpit voice recorder, flight data recorder and additional VIP aircraft upgrades with the satellite-based augmentation system-flight management system.

“Our capabilities and Universal Avionics' quality products have once again proved to be a very attractive combination for the aviation industry,” comments Hardy B. Truelsen, director of sales and marketing for Scandinavian Avionics. “It is with great pride that we have received our seventh award in ten years as top international dealer.”

Field Aerospace, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, has a longstanding relationship with UA, and joined the UA authorised dealer network over 20 years ago. The company has received a UA top dealer award more than four times over the past ten years, making this announcement its fifth. This achievement has been made possible thanks to the depth of knowledge and experience Field Aerospace has with UA products. In 2020, Field achieved success in pursuit of Dash 8-100/200/300 EFI-890R advanced flight display upgrades, as well as continued SBAS-FMS upgrades for advanced navigation capabilities and ADS-B Out compliance.

“We are proud to be recognised as Americas' Dealer of the Year for 2020 by Universal Avionics,” says Matt Carreon, VP of business development at Field Aerospace. “This award is evidence of our extensive customer base, strong relationship with UA and the quality of both companies' products and services.”
