Sheltair at Rocky Mountain offers a plush facility
Sheltair has built a 31,050 sq ft hangar at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan with traits designed to deliver a unique customer experience. The facility features 28 ft doors, 31,050 sq ft of hangarage and 4,455 sq ft of offices.
The Sheltair facility is an imposing structure.

Sheltair's new hangar and office facility at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan airport has been completed and is now open. On the same property as the company's FBO, the hangar can accommodate large cabin class size aircraft like the G650 and Global Express. The building has been completed just in time to support the region's ski season.

Like its FBO terminal building, which was opened in September, Sheltair built this 31,050 sq ft hangar with traits designed to deliver a unique customer experience. In addition to its 28-ft tail-height doors, the hangar features translucent cellular panels for natural daylighting, infrared heating systems, high-volume fans for air circulation and overhead doors for easy street-side access. Sheltair has also added polished-concrete floors and native mountain-region landscaping to enhance the structure.

Offering 4,455 sq ft of adjacent office space, Sheltair conveniently equipped the building with private entrances for tenants and three individual suites with direct access to the hangar. In addition, EV charging stations are available on-site, reflecting the company's focus on the customer and pledge to green initiatives.

“We have always stayed true to our commitment to delivering the world's finest aviation products for the world's finest aviation family, our customers,” says COO Todd Anderson. “Every detail was carefully designed and thought through. This complex is a testament to our focus on the customer and the business and general aviation communities that we proudly support.”

Sheltair BJC tenants will also benefit from award-winning service. The family-owned network has repeatedly secured top ratings across the country and is the only company with more than four FBOs ranked in AIN's top 20 per cent, with a total of eight.
