Fort Worth Jet lifts lid on Meacham shop

Fort Worth Jet & Associates (FWJ), under the leadership of president and founder James Robertson, has opened for business at Meacham International airport in Fort Worth, Texas. 

FWJ is located inside the new LEED Silver Certified Administration Building at 201 American Concourse, five miles from downtown Fort Worth. The airport boasts two museums, a 24-hour control tower, two 7,501 x 150 ft runways and two 4,006 x 75 ft runways equipped for ILS approaches, which serve as a premier corporate and general aviation facility in north Texas. American Aero, an IS-BAH Stage III FBO, calls KFTW home along with Northrop Grumman, Bell Helicopter and International Aerospace Coatings, where Air Force One was repainted.

FWJ is a provider of professional services for the sale, acquisition, appraisals, consulting and management of private aircraft. The company prides itself on providing service and negotiation as well as market intelligence to assess client need, philosophy of use and budget. Robertson is a licensed FAA airframe and powerplant mechanic and provides technical oversight throughout the entire process. “Dallas-Fort Worth is a centrally located and rapidly growing economic magnet. The new office enables us to be in the midst of the activity with extensive aviation support from the metroplex's providers in order to deliver top-notch service in aircraft sales, appraisals, management and consulting to the region and world,” he says.
