Phenom 300 receives the Pro Star treatment
The Garmin NXi provides aircraft owners and operators with features including wireless connectivity through the Flight Stream 510, SurfaceWatch runway monitoring technology, visual approach guidance and HSI map.
Turbulence detection and ground clutter suppression are among the benefits.

Pro Star Aviation, located at Manchester-Boston Regional airport in New Hampshire, has enhanced an Embraer Phenom 300 with Garmin's recently certified G1000 NXi flight deck, GWX75 radar and additional options.

The Garmin NXi provides aircraft owners and operators an array of features including wireless connectivity through the Flight Stream 510, SurfaceWatch runway monitoring technology, visual approach guidance and HSI map. Replacement of the legacy GWX68 radar for the new GWX75 delivered extensive benefits with optional features such as turbulence detection and ground clutter suppression. Featuring a high definition colour palette, exceptional range and a solid-state design, the GWX75 increases safety when flying in IFR conditions.

The Garmin GMA 1360D audio panels add 3D audio processing along with home theatre-quality sound. Additional Bluetooth audio connectivity will allow for pairing compatible devices for easy access to phone calls or audio entertainment.

“The base modification is exceedingly simple, only requiring the installer to replace the existing Prodigy equipment with the NXi versions. The 3D audio system and doppler radar updates only require minor wiring changes. The NXi upgrade for the Phenom 100/300 is honestly one of the easiest modifications, yielding the greatest improvements for the crew," states Jeff Shaw, director of business development.
