Kuhn opens in Leesburg to support growing custom
Leesburg Executive will soon be home to a 4,000 sq ft terminal and adjoining climate controlled 25,000 sq ft hangar to accommodate aircraft including the Global 7500 and the upcoming Gulfstream G700.

Kuhn Aviation, a private aviation company specialising in executive charters, aircraft management and aircraft sales/acquisitions, is constructing a three-storey, 4,000 sq ft terminal and adjoining climate controlled 25,000 sq ft hangar at Leesburg Executive airport in Virginia. This second FBO at Leesburg is slated to open in early 2021. The new terminal on the airport's east side will feature a private passenger lounge, shower facilities, pool table, pilots' lounge, conference room and parking garage.

The hangar is designed to accommodate business jets such as the Bombardier Global 7500 and the Gulfstream G700. Plans for a second phase of construction include an additional 100,000 sq ft of hangars on the south and west sides of the airport.

Kuhn Aviation has selected Shell distributor Titan Aviation Fuels as the supplier of its planned fuel farm, which will have a capacity of 20,000 gallons of Jet-A and 12,000 gallons of 100LL.

“We wanted to build a facility to support our growing aircraft management business and offer our clients a level of privacy and customer service that is difficult to find in the Washington, DC and northern Virginia region,” says company president Scott Kuhn. “We're looking forward to serving our customers and the continuation of a successful project.”
