JSSI hires Hockenberg and Sellers to top jobs
Ben Hockenberg will provide strategic guidance and overall leadership to JSSI. Moving to the role of chief commercial officer, Jim Sellers will be responsible for driving parts trading and aircraft acquisition business.

JSSI Parts & Leasing, a division of Jet Support Services, Inc., has appointed Ben Hockenberg as president and Jim Sellers as chief commercial officer. JSSI Parts & Leasing supports more than 10,000 aircraft maintenance events annually for JSSI customers and leverages JSSI data to offer rapid solutions for aircraft parts and leasing requirements globally. As president, Hockenberg will provide strategic guidance and overall leadership to the organisation. Moving to the role of chief commercial officer, Sellers will be responsible for driving the parts trading and aircraft acquisition businesses, including all teardown, part-out and leasing initiatives.

In his role prior to joining JSSI Parts & Leasing, Hockenberg was focused on investing in the aerospace sector. He has worked in investment banking, private equity and credit investing at Deutsche Bank, The Pritzker Organization, Venor Capital and Greenbriar Asset Management.

Prior to being named chief commercial officer, Sellers co-founded JSSI Parts & Leasing and was instrumental in its early success across every facet of the business. He has an extensive background in aviation with a focus on the buying and selling of parts, including roles at Prime Air, a HEICO Aerospace Company; Chase Aerospace; and AAR Corporation.
