TAG's ClimateCare partnership seeks sustainability
Emissions from TAG Aviation flights can now be offset through ClimateCare projects, including clean cooking projects in Bangladesh, safe water filters in Kenya and renewable energy facilities in India.

With environmental concerns at the heart of TAG Aviation's business philosophy, the company has forged a partnership with climate and sustainable development organisation ClimateCare. This initiative will provide TAG clients with the option of offsetting emissions generated by their private aviation journeys and charter flights.

While every effort is made by TAG to minimise its carbon footprint, emissions from the aircraft it operates are inevitable. However, thanks to the new partnership, these can be offset through ClimateCare projects, including clean cooking projects in Bangladesh, safe water filters in Kenya and renewable energy facilities in India. These initiatives not only cut carbon emissions and help tackle climate change, but also improve lives by reducing fuel bills for families in the case of clean cooking and reducing exposure to toxic fumes from fossil fuel power plants.

TAG group executive director Steven Young says: “We are privileged to collaborate with ClimateCare, a leading global provider of carbon offset programs that are both innovative and impactful. We recognise our role as a responsible corporate citizen and are committed to contributing its part in protecting and sustaining the delicate environment mother nature has gifted us. We are honoured to join the global community to save our planet for our future generations.”

ClimateCare's director of partnerships Robert Stevens adds: “We work with forward-thinking organisations to turn climate responsibilities into positive outcomes. Our Climate+Care approach helps organisations take a smart pathway to addressing their environmental impacts by offsetting their carbon emissions through projects which also support sustainable development.”
