PWI finds a new Seattle-based partner
Seattle Aviation Solutions was started by Mustafa Altork to meet demand for aviation parts. The company has expanded to provide other services such as staff training, maintenance services and inventory management.

Seattle Aviation Solutions (SAS) is PWI's newest parts dealer for Seattle and the Middle East region. The Seattle-based company has international affiliate branches in other countries, several of which are in the Middle East, which will help to expand PWI's reach across the globe.

“I'm confident that this new partnership with SAS will be advantageous for both companies,” says Robi Lorik, PWI president and CEO. “We're looking forward to a long association with SAS. We also share a common background in that SAS is a family run business.”

SAS was started by Mustafa Altork to meet the growing demand for aviation parts. With Altork's guidance, the company has also expanded to provide other services such as staff training, maintenance services and inventory management. SAS and PWI also share several mutual aviation customers, which helped solidify the association. With the many products and services SAS provides, Altork has firm roots in the aviation industry as well as his family-run business principles.

PWI is very friendly and family oriented,” says Altork. “It fits the mould of the companies we like to work with. It's always easier to deal with family-run businesses versus corporate. Decision making doesn't take so long, and there is a lot less bureaucracy.”

“SAS has a reputation for taking care of its customers and providing excellent service,” says Lorik. “SAS knows the area it serves. It is highly capable and we look forward to what the future holds.”

PWI is the lighting OEM for Beechcraft King Air aircraft. PWI has also been the OEM for other aircraft including Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Cessna Citation and Bombardier Learjet. PWI Inc. has engineered and manufactured fluorescent and LED aviation lighting products since 1972.
