TAG pioneers MicroShield 360 in Asia Pacific
TAG can complete the Microshield 360 application within a few hours and does not require hangars. The process involves an application of an electrostatic disinfectant followed by a proprietary coating formula.
MicroShield is designed to remove 99.99% of pathogens.

TAG Aviation Asia has become the first authorised MicroShield 360 application centre in the Asia Pacific region. MicroShield 360 is an EPA/FDA approved antimicrobial coating that kills 99.99% of pathogens and ensures the surface to which it is applied is protected from germs and viruses for an entire year.

'“The addition of Microshield 360 to TAG Aviation Asia's product line is another milestone in our quest to provide the business aviation industry with the latest and greatest resources across Asia Pacific region,” says Vince Picard, maintenance manager. “Microshield 360 has proven its efficiency and already been applied on 100s of business jets. It offers the passengers and crew peace of mind on their safety when flying during these challenging times.”

TAG Aviation Asia is currently the only MRO offering aircraft disinfection services approved by OEMs in the Greater Bay Area, and Microshield 360 comes at perfect time to complement this line of service. TAG currently performs the application at both its Hong Kong and Macau MRO stations and will soon be able to perform the application remotely across Asia with the portable electrostatic applicator.

TAG can complete the MicroShield 360 application within a few hours only and does not require hangars. The process involves an initial application of an electrostatic disinfectant followed by application of a proprietary coating formula, providing a biostatic finish to treated surfaces and preventing pathogens from living on them going forward.
