Av8 soon able to increase landing gear and overhaul capacity
By utilising in-house engineering, DER and PMA part manufacturing capabilities when possible, the Av8 Group delivers value to component overhaul customers. Its Houston workshop has expanded by 10,000 sq ft.
Av8 Houston is being given a boost.

The Av8 Group has completed a 10,000 sq ft expansion at its Houston location. This will provide additional space for its specialised service of landing gear and other component overhauls.

The original facility occupied 20,000 sq ft of space, and now with the added square feet will have a combined total of 30,000. It will service the growing requests for landing gear and component overhauls. The construction started last autumn and final touches were completed in March 2020 with the capacity to accept additional projects.

“This additional space will allow us to expand our capabilities even further, which we are excited about, and we will be announcing further details to the industry in the near future,” says Yoel Arnoni, CEO, The Av8 Group.

The Av8 Group specialises in landing gear overhaul as well as hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components. By utilising in-house engineering, DER and PMA part manufacturing capabilities when possible, the Av8 Group aims to deliver value to component overhaul customers.

Located in Houston, Texas, Av8 Group, an FAA and EASA authorised repair station and FAA PMA authority, combines three distinct subsidiary units: Av8 MRO, Av8 PMA and Av8 AOG. Each unit provides experience and capability, from PMA parts and engineering, accessory and component MRO to AOG parts sales, distribution and managed repair services.
