APS prevents upset with line up of UPRT
All APS customers who have trained with APS since January 2018 will receive a 100% discount for three months on the APS All-Access Pass to all published courses if they get set up up before 31 July.

Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), a leader in upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT), has responded to COVID-19's impact on pilot training and safety with a new line-up of free and paid online upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) course options. These courses, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7), allow pilots to study critical academic portions of upset training remotely at their own pace. Participating pilots can credit costs of the paid course options toward their future on-site UPRT programmes.

Two main types of online training are available: Online courses, that offer deep training on core academic concepts related to airplane aerodynamics and upsets, Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) and recovery concepts and techniques. APS is offering 50% off every programme in the online courses section for a full three months for anyone signing up before 31 July 2020; and webinars – APS has released a series of free webinars as well as the option for flight departments to take the academics portion of their UPRT course remotely through live-interactive one to three hour webinars for one to 2,000 participants with APS UPRT experts, or pre-designed scheduled webinar presentations.

“Our new online training options help to meet the needs of pilots who are currently unable to fly regularly during this unprecedented global COVID-19 pandemic,” says CEO Paul Ransbury. “We are honoured to support the safety training needs of the aviation industry during these challenging times through the mobilisation of our elite UPRT instructors' expertise and technology to support this initiative. We have great confidence in the ability of the industry to meet current challenges with optimism and innovation and climb back better and stronger than before.”

All APS customers who have trained with APS at any of its worldwide locations after 1 January 2018 will also receive a 100% discount for three months on the APS All-Access Pass to all published courses available in its online academy if they get setup up before 31 July 2020.
