FAI doubles Premier 1A light fleet
The Premier 1A provides room for up to six passengers in a light grey leather interior in a four-seat club configuration with two aft chairs. It has been acquired in response to a surge in demand for light jet charter.
The Premier 1A is set to enter charter ops in June.

German special mission and VIP charter operator FAI rent-a-jet, part of FAI Aviation Group, has acquired its second Premier 1A jet aircraft on behalf of a corporate client. It is anticipated that the Premier 1A will enter turnkey charter operations under management contract in June following a carbon fibre style full cabin refurbishment and new exterior designer paint. This latest addition will bring the company's fleet of jet aircraft to 27.

The Premier 1A provides room for up to six passengers and will feature a light grey leather interior in a four-seat club configuration and two aft chairs. In addition, onboard wi-fi internet/VoIP will be provided by Gogo's Aviator 200 system.

Chairman Siegfried Axtmann comments: “Having a second Premier 1A under management contract will enable FAI to expand its presence in the light jet charter sector and respond to the current increased demand in this segment. With the operating costs of a CitationJet and close to the cabin height and speed of a Learjet 60, the Premier 1A offers the perfect tool for entry level jet travel.”

The new addition will further complement FAI's Nuremberg-based fleet of six Global Express, one Challenger 850, six Challenger 604s, 12 Learjet 60s, the two Premier 1As and one King Air 350 turboprop.
