Trio of Phenom 100s gain NXi through Eagle Creek
Eagle Creek Aviation has a long history with Embraer, going back to the design phase of the Phenom and its introduction to the US market. It has now completed three flight deck upgrades on Phenom 100 models.

Indianapolis-headquartered Eagle Creek Aviation has just completed its first three installations of the newly approved Garmin G1000 NXi integrated flight deck upgrade on Embraer Phenom 100s equipped with the Prodigy flight deck. The G1000 NXi allows for wireless flight plan and database updates, SurfaceWatch runway monitoring technology, visual approach guidance, HSI map and more.

“The NXi flight deck has been a popular upgrade for other airframe types, and we're excited to be able to provide this product to our Phenom customers,” says president Scott Dillon. “Our close relationship with Embraer and Garmin allows us to be an advocate for our customers, ensuring that each installation goes smoothly, the aircraft is delivered with minimal downtime and that each customer is happy at the end of the day.”

Over the last year, the company has completed sixteen 120-month/10-year inspections on Phenom 100s and the first two 10-year inspections on Phenom 300s, while accomplishing the landing gear overhauls due at the same interval. It also completed 25 ADS-B installations on Phenom 100 and 300 aircraft. Additionally, it has already presold a number of G1000 NXi integrated flight deck upgrades, scheduled to begin this spring, and has capabilities to install the NXi flight deck on King Airs as well.
