The Sharpwings makes 2020 pre-owned pricing forecast
The Sharpwings has performed more than 110 surveys and appraisals of business jets, corporate turboprops and helicopters since its launch in 2015. It predicts price pressure on pre-owned sales over the new decade.
Jean Sémiramoth foresees some correction in aircraft values over the next ten years.

Having completed more than 110 surveys and appraisals of business jets, corporate turboprops and helicopters since it began offering aircraft technical and financial evaluations, restitutions and repossessions as well as remarketing and sales in 2015, specialist aircraft consulting firm The Sharpwings predicts further pressure on resale prices over the coming decade.

Founding partner Jean Sémiramoth, responsible for the corporate aviation side of the business, says: “I expect values of pre-owned aircraft to be under more pressure overall and therefore, for certain models, some further correction in values and depreciation rates will be evident.”

Sémiramoth has instigated and completed over $500 million worth of business aircraft sales and acquisitions over the past 15 years, some of this has been under the umbrella of The Sharpwings and a few were previously in his own personal capacity.
