Malaysian school updates Alsim AL42 trainer
International Aero Training Academy selected Alsim for its visual display and cockpit realism. The Malaysian school specialises in transitioning its students from visual to instrument flight.
Chris Koh has been impressed with Alsim's customer service.

International Aero Training Academy Sdn. Bhd. (IATAC), based in Peninsular, Malaysia, is upgrading its Alsim AL42 training device. The school has been operating the simulator for more than eight years and decided to upgrade to the WAAS feature, PBN/LPV capabilities and Linux OS.

Simulator instructor Chris Koh says: “We selected Alsim for its visual display and cockpit realism. The Alsim simulator enables our cadets' smooth transition from visual to instrument flight. The upgrading will give us the edge over traditional training devices, bringing the academy closer to a new generation of flight training for pilots. Alsim's service is very good, and I would like to thank all of the team for their effort and contribution to making this a success.”

Alsim aftersales manager Isabelle Thebault adds: “It's been a pleasure to work with the IATAC team over the past six months. They are very professional and friendly. We would like to thank them for their confidence and continued trust in us.”
