Sarith to steer Metrojet into becoming MRO of choice
Sarith Vaikuntan is a vastly experienced executive who has spent time at Bombardier and the Dubai Central Air Force. He has been brought in to Metrojet to oversee all aspects of the Philippines MRO.
Sarith Vaikuntan has a thorough understanding of customers.

Hong Kong-based Metrojet's MRO facility in the Philippines, Metrojet Engineering Clark, has welcomed Sarith Vaikuntan as general manager. Vaikuntan will oversee all aspects of Metrojet Clark MRO's operations, including the FAA Part 145 repair station accountable manager responsibilities and business development.

Holding a master's degree in Aviation Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia, Vaikuntan commenced his aviation career as chief engineer with the Dubai Central Air Force, where he spent 14 years. He has extensive experience within business aviation, focusing on customer experience and profitable growth, including three years as a maintenance controller with Jet Aviation Singapore and 10 years with Bombardier. Prior to joining Metrojet Clark, he was executive VP at Zenith Jet.

“It is with the greatest honour that I bring my engineering, customer service and various experience gained from top-tier business aviation companies to Metrojet,” he states. Together with the well-established international team here, I will also oversee and ensure that our new hangar, parking and maintenance facility is in smooth operation starting from Q2 next year and gradually becomes the MRO of choice in the region.”
