Diamond appoints Utility Air as distributor for Australia and NZ
Utility Air will represent the entire Diamond Aircraft range in Australia and New Zealand. Its appointment positions Diamond to work to become fastest growing GA brand in the region.
As Diamond-distributor for Australia and New Zealand, Utility Air intends to add finance and lease opportunities.

Diamond Aircraft Industries has appointed Utility Air as exclusive distribution partner for Australia and New Zealand. The appointment comes as the regional market for GA aircraft continues to strengthen, and training aircraft, in particular, are in high demand.

Diamond CEO Scott McFadzean comments: “We are delighted to welcome Utility Air to the Diamond Aircraft family and look forward to continuing the growth of Diamond Aircraft operating in this region.”

Utility Air managing director Stephen Pembro adds: “The Diamond product is one which I have a great deal of passion for, having been personally associated with the brand now for many years. This is without a doubt the most desirable GA aircraft available and we look forward to taking our customers on a journey of discovery with it.”

Working alongside Pembro to secure the appointment, Utility Air director John Oppenheim continues: “Not only is the Diamond product a superb aircraft, we aim to add even more value with innovative finance and lease opportunities for our customers. A major aim of mine will also be to increase the service centre network in Australia and New Zealand to provide customers with best in class support.”

The company plans a demo tour, service centre roll out and product development briefings for 2020.
