LunaJets' comparison facility aids jet choices
LunaJets’ new Jet Comparator will let clients make better choices when chartering an aircraft they are not necessarily familiar with, or for a newly delivered model.
José Ferreiro explains how LunaJets' Jet Comparator will allow clients to make a more educated choice of aircraft.

LunaJets has released a Jet Comparator, an in-app facility that provides clients with all the details they need to select and visualise their most appropriate business jet. The release coincides with the update of LunaJet's mobile app and allows users to compare the features and statistics of all private jets side by side, in one click.

The Jet Comparator works on all devices regardless of size, as well as within the LunaJets app, in English, French and German. Users can select up to five models to compare from 90 aircraft that are accessible by category, ranging from turboprop airliners to VIP airliners, or by manufacturer, of which there are 17 in total. Results are presented side by side in metric or imperial units with straightforward visual aids and maximum range maps based on geolocation.

Not only does it provide practical information such as the number of passengers, luggage capacity and range, it incorporates a cross section of cabins which allows users to make informed comparisons and cross examine cabin sizes in terms of width and height. It also gives detailed descriptions, graphics and pictures for each aircraft.

LunaJets introduced the tool with the objective of giving more decision-making power to its jet chartering customers, even when on the move. Head of IT and Jet Comparator developer José Ferreiro says: “By providing our clients with all the details on possible jets for charter, we allow them to make an educated choice in their aircraft selection as well as manage their expectations before they even board the plane.”

Internally, the Jet Comparator allows for smoother, faster transactions with customers. Ferreiro adds: “Our private aviation advisors now spend less time explaining the differences, upsides, particularities or limitations of aircraft to clients. It's a win-win tool for both sides.”
