Risk and security partnership in clutches of Osprey
A solution for aviation-specific intelligence promises efficiency in the smooth running of operations and supports the safety of crew, passengers and aircraft. Osprey and Drum Cussac bring 20 years' experience.
Together, Osprey Flight Solutions and Drum Cussac are launching an aviation-specific risk management tool.

Aviation intelligence and data-led risk management expert Osprey Flight Solutions has joined forces with travel risk and security technology provider Drum Cussac to deliver what it calls a market-first aviation risk and security solution.

Drum Cussac CEO Craig Sweet adds: “When it comes to aviation risk intelligence, quite simply there is no one better than Osprey. Its mantra of building pioneering risk technology to increase speed and accuracy of risk intelligence matches perfectly with our own beliefs; ultimately giving clients the tools they need to keep their staff, crew and assets safe and secure.”

Having recognised a gap in the market, as a result the two companies are committed to enabling travel risk management through aviation intelligence, with full end-to-end duty of care to keep people and assets safe at all times based on a large database of aviation security incidents and events supported by flexible technology to suit specific needs. The programme integrates with existing flight planning and security software and offers instantaneous access to world-class reports before and during flight operations as well as 24/7 access to expert security advice and crisis management, and access to global security networks for journey management and evacuation services.

Osprey CEO Andrew Nicholson says: “Drum Cussac's investment in technology has ensured that its travel risk platform is by far the best in the industry. Leveraging this technology, and the partnership as a whole, allows us to maintain our specialist focus, being the very best at our core business. Drum's market leading status allows us both to deliver a better service to our clients. This enables a quantum shift in the risk management support available to the industry.”

The Osprey system is a seamless integration of computing techniques and human analysis. The platform delivers instantaneous access to global analysis, intelligence, information and data on the aviation security environment thanks to its 24/7 aviation security analyst team and wider network of subject-matter experts.

GlobalRiskManager is a security platform built by Drum Cussac for flexibility and agility. The programme manages travel risk in one place and on one screen, with people and asset tracking, two-way mass communications and if the worst should happen, crisis management and evacuation.
