Katopodis brings avionics experience to C&L
C&L only entered the business aviation arena a year ago, but has already made its mark by landing several key STCs. The experienced Jim Katopodis has been brought in to strengthen the team.

C&L Engineering Services has appointed Jim Katopodis as a design engineer. Katopodis has over 26 years of experience in aviation engineering specialising in avionics, most recently as an avionics and electrical engineer for BizJet International. He will be based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

C&L was founded in 2018 and specialises in providing electrical and structural engineering services for many Part 145 repair stations. Solutions for both regional aircraft and corporate aircraft include ADS-B, WAAS, cabin management systems and STC engineering. Projects have included the STC certification for the Saab 340 ADS-B in/Out solution, JSX cabin refurbishment STC, and the ADS-B solution for Berry Aviation's fleet of EMB-120 aircraft.

“It's great to have Jim as part of the team,” comments engineering director Marty Buehrlen. “He brings a wealth of knowledge with him that will benefit our customer base with all of their cockpit avionics and cabin systems engineering needs.”
