First HondaJet mods package installed at Banyan
HondaJet's advanced performance modification group package results in shorter take off capability, increased MTOW and more room for luggage. South Florida's Banyan has completed its first such installation.
The Banyan Air Service team has completed its first HondaJet APMG installation.

Banyan Air Service recently completed its first HondaJet Advanced Performance Modification Group (APMG) package, developed by Honda Aircraft to offer improved performance and avionics capabilities to owners of the HA-420 HondaJet.

The APMG package provides the aircraft with a take off field length reduction of 443 ft to 3,491 ft, a forward baggage capacity increase to 200 lbs and an increased maximum take off weight of 10,700 lbs, resulting in more mission flexibility.

The APMG modifications include the extension of the horizontal stabiliser, the removal of vortex generators on the tail and winglets, the elimination of the mid-aileron fence, plus many Garmin G3000 avionics software upgrades that enhance situational awareness and safety. Some of these upgrades include increased connectivity with Flight Stream 510 compatibility, electronic checklist and advanced integrated Take Off & Landing (TOLD) calculations.

In addition to APMG modifications, Banyan's MRO team provides complete services for the HondaJet including inspections, structural modifications, engine services, avionics installations of wi-fi and high speed data and Garmin G3000 service and repair. The avionics team has also completed numerous installations of the Gogo Avance L3 wi-fi system which provides in-flight wi-fi connectivity.

Fort Lauderdale Executive airport-based Banyan Air Service is the exclusive HondaJet sales and service centre for Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. Its aircraft sales team has been recognised for HondaJet sales, and during last year's Honda Aircraft's annual dealer meeting, Banyan's Michael Gibson was recognised as the top sales performer in the world.
