Qatar cements spot as global Gulfstream leader
Qatar Executive has a strong relationship with Gulfstream and is due to receive more G500s and G650ERs later this year. The 650ER is offered with a fitted bed, while the 500 can connect LA and London in one hop.
Qatar Executive has further expanded its fleet with the delivery of two state-of-the-art Gulfstream jets.

Qatar Executive has taken delivery of two Gulfstream aircraft: a G650ER and a G500. The arrivals bring the total number of jets in the operator's fleet to 18.

Executive VP Ettore Rodaro says: “These truly advanced jets enable us to offer an unparalleled flying experience to our global clientele, who I am sure will be thrilled when flying on board these aircraft. We are proud of the strong relationship we have with Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and we look forward to receiving further jets in the future.”

The G650ER is designed to fly at a faster speed for longer distances than any other jet of its kind, with 7,500 nm range. Qatar Executive is the world's largest owner-operator of the type, offering a fitted bed, Bluetooth headphones and a private monitor, in addition to a cabin divider that can be closed, offering passengers privacy.

The G500 jet is also one of the fastest and most advanced types in the Qatar fleet, offering a quiet and low altitude cabin. It can travel non-stop from Istanbul to Cape Town, Los Angeles to London or San Francisco to Tokyo. The cabin contains technology including satellite communications, high-speed internet, the Oryx One entertainment system, wireless local area network (LAN) and Gulfstream's CMS, which allows passengers to use their own personal electronic devices to control audio, video, lighting, temperature, window shades and other cabin functions.

Qatar Executive currently operates a fleet of six Gulfstream G650ERs, four G500s, three Challenger 605s, four Global 5000s and one XRS. It is set to receive additional G500s and G650ER later this year.
