Gulfstream G500 returns to Aero Friedrichshafen
Gulfstream is seeing strong demand and a growing fleet opportunity in Germany and is excited to return to Friedrichshafen to offer customers an opportunity to experience the award-winning G500.
The G500 holds over 55 speed records and more than 125 are in service around the world.

Gulfstream Aerospace is to showcase its G500 at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany. The clean-sheet G500 offers best-in-class performance with advanced safety features and an optimal combination of speed, wide-cabin comfort and efficiency.

"The fuel-efficiency, safety advances and performance capabilities of our next-generation aircraft are ideal for operators in this region. We are excited to return to Friedrichshafen, and we look forward to offering customers an opportunity to experience the award-winning G500."

The G500 entered service in September 2018 and introduced the Gulfstream Symmetry flight deck, which features safety enhancing technology including the industry's first active control sidesticks and most extensive use of touch screens, along with phase-of-flight intelligence. Built for performance, the G500 is outfitted with high-thrust engines and an aerodynamic wing, and provides fuel-efficiency up to 33 per cent greater than previous-generation aircraft.

The G500 cabin can be configured with up to three living areas and features the Gulfstream Cabin Experience, with 100 per cent fresh, never recirculated air, the lowest cabin altitude in its class, quiet sound levels and abundant natural light from 14 panoramic oval windows. The aircraft has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 and can fly 5,300nm/9,816km at Mach 0.85, or 4,500nm/8,334km at Mach 0.90. It can link Munich to New York at Mach 0.90 or Munich to Beijing at Mach 0.87.
