World Fuel Services (WFS) has unveiled two fuel farms at Aéroport La Rochelle-Ile de Ré, in its capacity as sole fuel provider to the regional French airport. The company has installed a new Jet A1 and Avgas fuel farm that is fully compliant with the EU sustainability criteria, mandatory from 2020.

Since the contract was announced six months ago, the farms have been designed, installed and commissioned as part of a commitment to efficiency and value creation for Aéroport La Rochelle-Ile de Ré. The Jet A1 fuel farm comes complete with a bridger delivery process.

WFS will serve the airport's business and general aviation customers, as well as major commercial airlines flying in to La Rochelle, such as Air France, Easyjet, Flybe, Jet2 and Ryanair.
