Connectivity management is a priority for Bellawings
GoDirect Cabin enhances connectivity, makes costs manageable and opens up the airwaves to a broader range of services. HK Bellawings' passengers can now get more of the video conferencing and IFE offering.
Jack Li, here with Honeywell connected aircraft president Ben Driggs, is to roll out GoDirect Cabin through the HK Bellawings Jet fleet.

Honeywell has been selected by Hong Kong-based HK Bellawings Jet to supply GoDirect Cabin connectivity applications for the company's growing aircraft fleet, giving access to cost-efficient connected aircraft services to more effectively manage cabin connectivity services.

“As the premier private jet operator in the Asia Pacific region, we provide a diverse array of professional, highly efficient and comprehensive business aviation services and solutions for our clients,” says HK Bellawings Jet vice president Jack Li. “With GoDirect Cabin we can offer better connectivity for a range of needs, like participating in a business video conference or enjoying in-flight entertainment. Honeywell's GoDirect Cabin services will increase our capability to provide high-speed connectivity at a lower cost, further enhancing our competitive offerings in the region.”

HK Bellawings Jet will use GoDirect Cabin to help manage passenger data consumption during flight to better control overhead costs associated with in-flight connectivity. By using GoDirect Data Control, a service included with GoDirect Cabin, operators can save up to $100,000 per year, per aircraft, on their data costs depending on the activity of their passengers. In addition, HK Bellawings will also use GoDirect Access voucher cards to manage in-flight internet connections and data usage. The voucher card can provide passengers with a fixed amount of data and lets them purchase more, if needed.

“Hong Kong is an active business centre and one of the main airline hubs in Asia,” adds Honeywell Aerospace vice president, services and connectivity John Peterson. “As the only end-to-end connectivity solutions provider in the aviation market, GoDirect Cabin provides the tools needed by operators to manage and control their satellite communications and connectivity services, which can enhance the passenger experience and save operators money.”

GoDirect Cabin offers a comprehensive suite of scalable satellite connectivity services to meet nearly every need. This includes access to GoDirect apps and all the benefits of reliable in-flight connectivity thanks to its next-generation routers and routing software. These services give operators the flexibility and visibility into their current wireless services to make troubleshooting, networking and onboard data management an easy process.

GoDirect Cabin is part of Honeywell's GoDirect family, the industry's most complete portfolio of more than 50 value-adding aviation services and applications that provide operators, flight crews and maintenance teams with critical information to control their services and network.
