Metrojet strengthens capabilities with Isle of Man-power
A new hangar in the Philippines will house the growing number of aircraft visiting Metrojet Engineering Clark for maintenance servicing, now that it is approved to work on Isle of Man-registered aircraft. Ellen Li will be overseeing the financial operations of MetroJet itself.
Ellen Li has joined MetroJet as director of finance.

Hong Kong-based Metrojet's MRO facilty in the Philippines, Metrojet Engineering Clark, is now able to work on and return to service Isle of Man-registered aircraft.

Metrojet has commenced the building of a new hangar in Clark to accommodate the growing need of aircraft parking and maintenance services in the region,” says COO Bruce Watson. “To support such needs, Metrojet Engineering Clark has been expanding its capability and team expertise so as to offer the highest quality standards of services that customers deserve.”

Metrojet Clark MRO is certified by the CAAs of the Philippines, Cayman Islands and Qatar as well as the United States FAA.

The company has appointed Ellen Li as its new director finance, to oversee all aspects of its financial operations, planning and budgeting, tax advisory, cash flow management accounting operation and internal control and compliance. Li is a seasoned senior finance executive with more than 25 years of experience in business aviation, media, food and engineering industries in the region. Prior to joining Metrojet she was with Jet Aviation for more than seven years serving as director finance, Asia, and overseeing the entire finance function as well as assisting in various functional aspects of its MRO operations.

“I am extremely delighted to have Ellen join the Metrojet team,” comments CEO Gary Dolski. “Her professional experience coupled with significant market knowledge will assist us in our growth and expansion in the Hong Kong, mainland China and south east Asia region.”
