Air Service Basel achieves IS-BAH Stage II
From humble beginnings as a six man maintenance team, Air Service Basel now employs 32 CAMO experts, customer service professionals and technicians. Now the FBO has been recognised for its best safety practice.
IS-BAH Stage II certification recognises the efforts of Air Service Basel in terms of security and safety.

Air Service Basel business aviation handling and maintenance facility, located at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in Switzerland, has been granted Stage II IS-BAH certification from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).

Quality assurance manager Uwe Paukner comments: “We are very pleased to be recognised for our efforts in security, safety, service and the environment with our accreditation for the second stage of IS-BAH. The second stage validates that safety and security are part of our daily practices and acknowledges the level of service we dedicate to our overall ground handling performance.”

Located at the southwest corner of Basel's EuroAirport, Air Service Basel's IS-BAH certified FBO terminal offers a full range of customer-focused services for business aviation and its EASA and FAA approved maintenance department offers airframe, power plant and avionics services.

Following the structure of the safety management system for business aircraft operators (IS-BAO), the IS-BAH certificate establishes criteria to ensure the ground handling processes for aircraft, crews and passengers comply with ground safety and security standards.
