Harrods shops around for hangar space at Luton
With the UK winter well under way, demand for a heated and secure hangar at London Luton airport has spiked. Customers have fed this back to Harrods Aviation, which has managed to procure the 33,000 sq ft Hangar 60.

Harrods Aviation has secured extra hangar parking for its FBO at London Luton airport for the winter period following feedback from its customers. There has been growing demand for hangar space at the London airport, and Harrods has responded by securing Hangar 60, which will provide a secure, heated area of approximately 33,000 sq ft and direct access to the apron.

Ops director Kerry Besgrove states: “We have a short term hangar parking solution for our customers who wish to park their aircraft here at Luton. We are wholly committed to meeting our customers' needs, and with the UK winter on its way, the timing of this hangar space couldn't be better."

Harrods Aviation offers FBO services at London Luton and Stansted airports. Both bases have fully equipped hangars for aircraft maintenance and engineering.
