Gama Aviation has appointed Colm Langton as Glasgow FBO manager, strengthening the leadership of its established Glasgow operation in the UK and a coordinated approach to safety and compliance across the wider Gama Aviation FBO network.

Langton brings more than 28 years of aviation experience spanning operational leadership, learning and development, safety and team performance. Most recently, he led training and leadership development across a major aviation network, supporting managers and teams to create positive workplace cultures and deliver consistently high standards.

As Glasgow FBO manager, he will lead the continued development of the operation, building on the strong commercial progress achieved during 2026 and working closely with the team to deliver safe, efficient and highly personal experiences for passengers, operators and crews.

Alongside his leadership responsibilities in Glasgow, Langton will oversee safety and compliance across the wider Gama Aviation FBO network. This expanded remit will support the consistent sharing of expertise and best practice across Gama Aviation's FBO locations, reinforcing the high standards of safety, compliance and service delivered throughout the network.

Located at Glasgow airport, the Gama Aviation FBO provides business aviation handling, passenger and crew facilities, dedicated apron parking, hangarage, fuelling capabilities and in-house security screening.

He joins the business at an important stage in the continued development of the Glasgow operation. His focus will include supporting commercial growth, developing the team's capability and ensuring that every part of the client journey reflects Gama Aviation's commitment to safe, consistent and personal service.

His experience in operational leadership and learning and development will also support Gama Aviation's commitment to investing in its people and creating an environment in which colleagues can develop, perform and deliver exceptional experiences for clients.

Safety and compliance will remain an absolute priority within Langton's new role. Working with leadership and operational teams throughout the Gama Aviation FBO network, he will help connect expertise, share learning and promote consistent standards across each location.

This network-wide responsibility will further align operational safety with team development and client service, supporting continual improvement while ensuring the individual strengths and requirements of each FBO remain recognised.
